This is one of my favorite dishes. Its easy and i love cornbread.

Ingredients For mexican corn bread

  • 2 box
    jiffy corn bread mix
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 can
    cream style corn
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 2 c
    shredded velveeta cheese

How To Make mexican corn bread

    Mix both boxes of cornbread according to box. Set aside. Brown the ground beef and onion till done, drain. Add the creamed corn, set aside. Oil a 13-9 inch baking pan, and add 1/2 of the cornbread mixture in pan. Top with the meat mixture. Spread evenly. Top with the remaining corn bread mixture. Top with the shredded cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
