My hubby likes his tortillas fried for tacos. You can switch up the type of meat and use chicken or pork instead.

Ingredients For mark's tacos-kl

6flour tortillas, medium size

1/2 lbground beef

2 tspcumin
-
1 tspchili powder

1/2 tspseasoning salt

1/4 tsppepper
-
1 cantomato sauce + 1 can water

1onion, chopped (divided use)

1 ccabbage, shredded
-
1 ccheese, shredded
-
1 canrefried beans
-
salsa
-
sour cream
How To Make mark's tacos-kl

1Brown ground beef and 1/4 cup of onion in skillet on medium heat.

2Drain off the grease.

3Add tomato sauce, water, and seasonings.

4Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is gone, stirring occasionally.

5Meanwhile shred cabbage and cheese.

6Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet that your tortillas will fit in. Once oil is hot, place tortilla in pan. Let sit for a few second to soften, flip over and fold in half. Cook on that side until golden brown, turn over and cook other side until golden brown. Place on a paper towel to drain.

7Continue with remaining tortillas.

8Heat refried beans on stove in pan.

9When everything is done. Build your Tacos!

10Spread some refried beans on half of the tortilla, top with some meat mixture,cheese, cabbage, onions, sour cream and salsa. One is usualy enough, but I almost always go back for more cuz I can't help it :)
