jodie's taco salad
(12 ratings)
I have made this for many years. It is very popular in my family. So popular, this is my oldest son's favorite. My mom and sister measure this against other taco salads that they have eaten.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
On the surface this is a pretty straightforward taco salad recipe... and then you get a taste of the dressing! It's slightly sweet and tangy. The perfect complement to the taco meat and the rest of the salad. The creative introduction of French dressing really adds an unexpected flavor that makes you wonder why you didn't think of that yourself! Great for serving a crowd or an option on taco night. We added blue tortilla chips for a pop of color.
