Ingredients For jalepeno burgers

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1/2 lb
    ground sirloin
  • 6 oz
    pepper jack cheese
  • 1/4 c
    salsa, your choice how hot
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 to 3 md
    jalepenos, seeds removed or not, and diced
  • 3 md
    scallions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    each salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • toppings:
  • pickled jalepenos
  • sliced tomatoes, onions
  • lettuce leaves
  • salsa
  • 12 Tbsp
    mayo, optional

How To Make jalepeno burgers

  • 1
    Grate 2 oz of pepper jack cheese to go into burger, slice the remainder into 6 slices to melt on the burger.

    Mix all burger ingredients together.

    Grill til done to your liking.

    last 5 minutes of cooking, toast buns, put a slice of cheese on each burger, and let melt.

    Spread with 2 tablespoons mayo on each bun, and toppings of your choice.
