1 lbcooked prawns (cut in chunks)

3/4 clemon & lime juice

1 cchopped red onion

1/2 ccilantro, fresh

1 tsporegano

1 lgcucumber peeled & sliced into 1/2

1 lgavocado cut into 1/2
How To Make civeche

1In a non-reactive casserole dish, either Pyrex or ceramic, place the shrimp, onion, salt and oregano. Cover with lime and lemon juice. Let sit covered in the refrigerator for an hour, then stir, making sure more of the fish gets exposed to the acidic lime and lemon juices. Let sit for several hours, giving time for the flavors to blend.
