My husband loves chile rellenos and I finally have a recipe he likes.

Ingredients For chile rellenos casserole

1 (14 oz) canortega whole chile peppers

1 (8 oz) pkgshredded cheese (cheddar, mexican, or your own mix)

1 lbpepper jack cheese (loaf or sticks)

1/2 cflour
-
3eggs
-
2 cmilk
-
1 tspsalt

1/2 tspminced garlic
How To Make chile rellenos casserole

1Set oven to 350 degrees.

2Spray 9x12 casserole with non-stick spray.

3Seed chiles.

4Stuff each chile with a strip of pepper jack cheese and arrange in the bottom of casserole dish.

5Cover with shredded cheese.

6Beat flour, eggs, milk, salt, and garlic together and pour over cheese and chiles.

7Bake 50-60 minutes or until custard is set.
