Ingredients For chicken tacos

1 Tbspcanola oil
-
1yellow onion, chopped
-
4chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
-
seasoning salt
-
onion powder
-
1/2 cpicante sauce
-
1/2 cwater
-
3 clovegarlic
-
1 canchiles, canned and mild
-
8-10taco shells
-
cilantro, fresh
-
sour cream
-
cheese, shredded
-
salsa (any)
How To Make chicken tacos

1Heat oil in a large skillet. Saute onions on medium-high heat for a couple of minutes, place chicken breast on top of the onions and season lightly with seasoning salt and onion powder.

2Pour picante sauce on top of the chicken. Then pour water in the skillet(not over the chicken). Bring to a simmer cover and let cook for 30-45 min. Adding more water if needed so that chicken does not stick to the skillet.

3Shred chicken then continue to cook until the water is gone the chicken starts to sizzle in the skillet. Add garlic and chiles cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

4Heat taco shells assemble with cilantro, salsa, cheese and sour cream.
