I like to experiment with different ingredients when making a meatloaf. I settled on this recipe because it makes a really tender meatloaf. I think the glaze is a nice touch of sweet to balance the savory.

2 lbground beef

1onion, chopped

1 Tbspyellow mustard

6 Tbsptomato paste

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

4wasa sourdough crisp crackers, finely crushed

2eggs, lightly beaten

salt and pepper, to taste
- SWEET AND SAVORY GLAZE

1/2 cketchup

1 Tbspmaple syrup

1/4 cred wine
How To Make tasty meatloaf with sweet and savory glaze

1Work all ingredients into the beef until well combined. Form into a loaf and place in a baking pan. I like to place it on a rack. If using a rack, pour 1/2 cup of water in pan to prevent drippings from burning.

2For the glaze, whisk together ingredients and pour over the top of the meatloaf.

3Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
