This is my mother's favorite way to make meatloaf. It's moist and if you use your hands to mix it it works well. Plus it's easy to make.

Ingredients For stove top stuffing meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    hamburger meat
  • 1 box
    stuffing mix
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    dried onion or 1/2 fresh chopped
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder or 1 clove crushed
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1 c
    water
  • ketchup or barbecue sauce for glazing

How To Make stove top stuffing meatloaf

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x9 baking dish or whatever you would like.

    Mix eggs in a bowl then mix in beef. Add onion and garlic and mix. Add stuffing mix, water, and ketchup.

    Mix all together and put in a greased baking dish. Mine is about 2 inches thick.

    Put ketchup or barbecue sauce on top about 1/2 way through cooking.

    Bake 45 minutes to one hour depending on your oven.
