My momma made meatloaf all the time. We loved the aroma while it baked. The glaze really gives this meatloaf pizazz

Ingredients For meatloaf

  • 3 lbs.
    hamburger 80/20
  • 1 medium
    bell pepper
  • 4 large bu
    green onions
  • 3 cloves
    garlic
  • I inner pa
    nabisco saltine crackers
  • 1 15 oz. C
    hunts diced tomatoes
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    heinz catsup
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce (for glaze)
  • 3/4 c
    catsup (for glaze)
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar (for glaze)

How To Make meatloaf

    Dice bell pepper and onion. Mince garlic. Add 1 drained can of diced tomatoes. Crumble crackers in large bowl. Mix everything up, then mix in hamburger. In a 9 × 13 clear glass pan, fashion mixture into container.

    Bake for 30 min. at 400 deg. Take out of oven. Glaze with 3/4 cup of catsup mixed with 1/4 cup of brown sugar, add 1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce. Glaze and bake 30 minutes more.
