1/2 stickbutter

2 stalkcelery, finely chopped

1 smonion, finely chopped`

1 lgcarrot, peeled and grated

1 lggolden delicious apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped

2 lbground turkey

1egg
-
2/3 cunsweetened applesauce (divided)

2 Tbspmilk
-
1/2 cpanko bread crumbs

1 Tbspdijon mustard
-
2 tsphoney
-
3/4 tspsage
-
1/2 tsprosemary
-
1/2 tspthyme
-
1/4 tspmarjoram
-
dashnutmeg
-
to tastesalt & pepper
How To Make loaded turkey loaf

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

2Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook celery, onion and carrot, stirring occasionally, until veggies are tender. (about 2 mins.)

3Add apple and cook 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. (about 10 minutes)

4In a large bowl, mix together turkey, egg,1/3 cup applesauce, milk, bread drumbs and seasonings.

5Add onion mixture and stir gently until just combined. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and shape into a 9 x 5 inch loaf.

6In a small bowl, stir together mustard, honey and 1/3 cup applesauce.

7Spread over top and sides of the loaf.

8Bake foe 30 minutes.

9Reduce temperature to 375 degrees and cook for 25 minutes more or until done.

10Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
