This is an old recipe that I haven't tried yet. I will have to try it and tweak the directions after I do. I always love recipes to use left-over Thanksgiving turkey!!

Ingredients For turkey and sausage scallop

  • left over turkey meat, minced
  • cooked sausage, minced
  • gravy or weak stock
  • bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • cream or milk
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How To Make turkey and sausage scallop

  • 1
    Butter a pudding dish and fill with alternating layers of cold turkey and sausage; season lightly. Pour in as much gravy or stock as the dish will hold; let it soak in for a few minutes and cover with a mush of bread crumbs, peppered, salted and soaked in cream or milk, then beaten smooth with egg and butter; it should be 1/2" thick. Cover and bake for 1/2 hour, then uncover and brown. Serve at once, as the crust will soon fall.
