Not your average chili! Not only is this a healthy version, it is super-packed with sweet and hot flavors, so much that you won't even tell that it is "healthy"! Definitely an up-scale chili. :)

Ingredients For it's never too chili for love!

2 Tbspcoconut oil

1 lbturkey sausage (casings removed)

1 lbground turkey

1orange bell pepper, medium size

1small yellow onion, diced

5scallion stalks, diced
-
1 canchili beans, no sodium or low sodium (14.5 oz)

2 candiced tomatoes, no sodium or low sodium (14.5 oz each)

2 Tbspsalt
-
2 Tbspchili powder
-
1 1/2 Tbspcumin
-
1 Tbsppepper
-
1 Tbspcurry powder
-
1 Tbsponion powder
-
1 Tbspgarlic powder
-
1 Tbsppaprika
-
1/4 tspred pepper flakes (or more if you like it very spicy)

1/4 cbrown sugar

1/2 csweet red wine
How To Make it's never too chili for love!

1In dutch oven or large pot, melt coconut oil. Add meat. Brown over medium-high heat for about 7 minutes, stirring often.

2Add bell pepper and scallions. Stir and continue over medium-high heat for 7 minutes.

3Add all spices. Stir and continue on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

4Add tomatoes and beans (no need to drain cans), and wine. Stir. Lower heat and cover pot. Let this simmer for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

5Taste and adjust spicing to your liking. Enjoy!
