I wanted salisbury steak, but wanted to make it healthier. This is what I came up with.

Ingredients For healthy sailbury steak

  • 1-1/2 lb
    ground turkey
  • 2
    scallions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mus
  • 1
    12 oz jar fat-free beef gravy
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 tsp
    prepared horseradish
  • 1/2 lb
    sliced fresh mushrooms

How To Make healthy sailbury steak

    Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine ground turkey, scallions, bread crumbs, egg and mustard.

    Mix well. Shape into 4-1/2" oval patties. Heat skillet over medium high heat. Cook patties about 4-5 mins each side.

    Add gravy, water, horseradish and mushrooms. Cook 5 mins.
