Ingredients For crock pot turkey breast

1 mdonion, peeled and cut into chunks

1 stalkcelery, cut into chunks

1bone in turkey breast, 5 to 7 pounds, skin removed

1 lglemon, cut in half

2 Tbspolive oil
-
1 Tbspsalt free, lemon pepper seasoning

2 tsppoultry seasoning
-
1/2 cchicken broth
-
1/2 cdry, white wine
How To Make crock pot turkey breast

1Grease a large 6 qt. Slow cooker.

2Place chunks of onion and celery and 1/2 lemon in slow cooker.

3Remove turkey breast from packaging, remove skin, then pat dry with paper towels. Place turkey breast in slow cooker on top of onions, celery, and lemon. Squeeze remaining lemon half over the turkey, then add lemon to slow cooker.

4Rub olive oil on turkey breast. Combine seasonings and rub on turkey breast. Pour chicken broth and wine around turkey,

5Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours, or until a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees. Make sure the thermometer is not touching bone.

6Remove from slow cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
