Ingredients For speedy crab cakes

  • 1/3 c
    kraft salad dressing
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 c
    soft white brad crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 2 md
    green onion chopped
  • 2
    refridgerated containers (8oz) each pasteurized lump crabmeat
  • 1/4 c
    unseasoned dry breadcrumbs
  • veg oil for frying

How To Make speedy crab cakes

  • 1
    In medium bowl,mix salad dressing and egg with a whisk.Gently stir in remaining ingredients except the dry breadcrumbs and oil so that crabmeat doesnt break apart into small pieces. shape mixture into 6 patties( mixture will be moist). Coat each patty with dry bread crumbs.

    In a medium non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat about 3 tablespoons. cook patties in oil about ten minutes turning once, until golden brown. reduce heat if pattys are getting to brown to quickly. serve
