This is a recipe I tweaked to make it low fat by reducing the oil etc. in the recipe. I also tweaked the ingredients to make it more flavorful. My family is very happy with this dish,and I was told to add it to our menu. Ha ha ha

Ingredients For skinny shrimp and broccoli

1 Tbspcanola oil
-
1medium onion halved and sliced thin
-
2cloves garlic grated
-
3 cbroccoli floretts
-
2 cchopped mushrooms
-
1 lbfrozen cooked shrimp thawed
-
1 Tbsptamari soy sauce
-
2 tspgrated fresh ginger root
-
1 Tbsphoisin sauce
-
1/2 cchicken stock
-
1 tspcorn starch
-
1 pinchblack pepper
-
2 ccooked jasmine rice ,or white rice.-cook and follow directions
How To Make skinny shrimp and broccoli

1Heat non stick skillet add the oil. Get the pan hot and add the onion,and cook until transparent. Add the garlic. Stir continuously until light brown.

2Add the Broccoli to pan with onion. Add 1/4 cup of the chicken stock. Cook until Broccoli is dark green.

3Add the Ginger,and stir in. Mix the soy sauce,Hoisin sauce with the remaining chicken stock. add the corn starch to it,and blend well.

4Pour mixture over the Brocolli,and stir in thawed Frozen shrimp. Cook just until shrimp is hot. Season with pepper.

5Serve over rice.
