Ingredients For portuguese style shrimp

  • 1 lb
    uncooked shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 can
    beer
  • 6 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 md
    onion minced
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    hot sauce more or less to taste
  • 2 pkg
    goya can azafran
  • 1/2
    lemon juiced
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped cilantro

How To Make portuguese style shrimp

  • 1
    Add butter to saucepan and melt. Add onion and garlic and saute until translucent. Add beer, hot sauce, and con azafran. Cook 3 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until done. Add lemon juice.

    Remove shrimp with slotted spoon. Boil sauce until reduced and thickened. Serve over shrimp garnish with cilantro. Serve over rice or noodles
