poached shrimp
This is a very quick way to make shrimp and oh so tasty. I served with some steamed green beans and my forbidden rice with a twist. The rice recipe is also posted here.

Ingredients For poached shrimp

1 lbjumbo shrimp (10-15 count)

2 Tbspold bay seasoning

1 Tbspcayenne pepper

1 Tbspancho chili powder

1 canbeer

1lemon
-
water

2 Tbspbutter
How To Make poached shrimp

1De-vein shrimp but leave in shell

2Add water, beer, seasonings, and thinly sliced lemon to a deep skillet. Bring to a boil the reduce to a low simmer

3Add shrimp and let poach 3-5 minutes until pink

4Serve with lemon and melted butter. I like to add a bit of garlic to my butter ( optional)
