lea's shrimp scampi

I LOVE shrimp pasta and make it often. I add just a bit of flour on the shrimps and when the flour mixes with the butter,olive oil and lemon juice makes a slightly thick sauce to coat the shrimp and the pasta.DELICIOUS!

Ingredients For lea's shrimp scampi

  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • salt and black pepper,to taste
  • 1 lb shrimp,peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 c flour
  • crushed red pepper flakes,to taste
  • 4-5 garlic cloves,minced well
  • 1 t. lemon juice
  • 2 t. parsley,minced
  • any cooked pasta,of your choice

    In a skillet,melt butter,add olive oil. Season shrimps with salt and pepper,dredge in flour and pat dry.Add pepper flakes and shrimp,sauté shrimps 1 minute,add garlic,lemon juice and parsley and cook 1 minute .Remove from skillet and serve over hot cooked pasta.
