4cayenne peppers, stemmed and seeded

1 lbshrimp, peeled and deveined

1 pinchsalt

lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
How To Make gambas al ajillo (shrimp scampi)

1Heat the oil, over medium high heat, in a large skillet and add the minced garlic and chillies. Saute until the garlic begins to turn golden then stir in the shrimp. Cook, while stirring, until the shrimp are cooked through and opaque, about 2 minutes. Season with salt to taste.

2Turn off the heat and cover the skillet for 3 minutes before serving.

3Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
