crab and rice primavera
This recipe was given to me by a friend and as usual I always tweak a few things. The original recipe called for shrimp, but I prefer using imitation crabmeat due to allergy to shellfish. And even then I use gloves to prepare this. Not taking chances. LOL Anyway, this recipe is very easy and quick to make. If you don't have a lot of time in the kitchen try this recipe on.

Ingredients For crab and rice primavera

1 1/2 cbirds eye farm fresh broccoli, green beans, pearl onions and red peppers

1/4 cwater

1 1/3 cmilk

3/4 lbimitation crabmeat or seafood of your choice

2 Tbspbutter or margarine

1 tspgarlic powder

3/4 tspdried basil
-
1 1/2 coriginal minute rice

1/2 cgrated parmesan cheese
How To Make crab and rice primavera

1Bring vegetables and water to boil in medium saucepan, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 3 minutes.

2Add milk, crabmeat, margarine, garlic powder and basil. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice and cheese.

3Cover; remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.
