1prepared deep dish pie shell

3medium tomatoes
-
2medium onions
-
salt
-
pepper

1 cgrated cheddar cheese

1 cmayonnaise

dill weed
How To Make traditional tomato pie

1Preheat oven to 300°F

2Slice tomatoes and let drain for 30 minutes on a paper towel.

3Bake prepared pie shell for 10 minutes; meanwhile slice onions and sprinkle with salt and pepper

4Sprinkle the drained tomatoes with salt and pepper, too

5Mix grated cheddar and mayonnaise.

6Layer sliced tomatoes and onions in pre-cooked pie shell, top with cheddar-mayonnaise mix, sprinkle with dill weed.

7Bake at 300°F for 50 minutes
