Cassie posted this recipe on JAP and I thought it sounded great. A unique way to make egg salad. My husband did not like it because he likes the Miracle whip taste so I changed the recipe a bit by leaving out the butter and replacing it with Miracle whip. It was a hit. The cottage cheese gives the egg salad a different texture. It's really good. Thanks Cassie

Ingredients For egg salad with cottage cheese

  • 4 lg
    eggs boiled
  • 1/2 c
    miracle whip
  • 1 c
    small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 sm
    shallot chopped
  • 1 tsp
    whole grain mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    dill weed
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • salt and pepper

How To Make egg salad with cottage cheese

  • 1
    Peel the eggs and chop them up. Add all ingredients and mix well. Serve in between two pieces of bread
