I know this won't be for a lot of cooks....but if you have a hunter in your family this is a good way to fix a deer roast.

Ingredients For venison roast

  • 5 lb
    venison roast
  • 1 can
    condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix

How To Make venison roast

  • 1
    On a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil, place roast.
  • 2
    Fold foil around roast and pour the cream of mushroom soup and the dry onion soup mix over the roast.
  • 3
    Roast in a 350 degree F oven for about 4 hours. Open foil at top to test for tenderness. Be careful not to let gravy escape.
