Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For crock-pot pot roast

2-4 lbbeef chuck pot roast

1/2 call purpose flour
-
1/2 tspsalt, or to taste

1/4 tspfreshly ground black pepper, or to taste

3carrots, sliced
-
3potatoes, quartered
-
3onions, sliced
-
2 stalkcelery, sliced
-
1 csliced mushrooms
-
1 cbeef broth or wine
How To Make crock-pot pot roast

1Season the roast with salt and pepper, then coat on all sides with flour. Sear in a hot skillet to brown the outsides.

2Place all the vegetables in the bottom of the crock-pot, except the mushrooms. Add the roast, then spread the mushrooms out on top. Pour in the liquid.

3Place the cover on the crock-pot and cook until the meat is tender, 10-12 hours on low, or 6-8 hours on high.
