How To Make bonnie's spicy seasoned meat for wraps, sandwiches

Please follow the recipe as written the first time you make it, so you will know how it is supposed to taste. It is very filling and high in protein. It is spicy, but on the mild side. Serve it on a bun or in a wrap. Add anything to it you wish as a topping. I prefer mine plain and just rolled in a soft, warm corn tortilla.
  • 2
Use a very large skillet and heat over medium high heat. Add the oil, and when the pan is hot, add the meat.
  • 3
Add the seasonings, fennel, black pepper, and salt. Mix the seasoning into the meat. Don't skip the fennel; it is what makes this recipe so delicious.
  • 4
Brown the meat uncovered, turning so all the pieces brown. Make a well in the center of the meat and add the chopped onion and garlic. (Optional: If you are a fan of red bell pepper, you can add about a 1/2 cup slivered)

Let the onion and garlic cook for about five minutes, uncovered, and then stir into the meat. I like for the onion to have a slight crunch to it. Cook until meat is cooked through.
