Ingredients For smothered pork chops w/ bacon and mushrooms

4 slicebacon

3 lbboneless pork loin chops, 1/2"-thick

2 tspgarlic and herb seasoning, like mrs. dash

1/4 tspsalt and pepper

1/2 cflour
-
3 Tbspbutter
-
1 smonion, diced
-
8 ozportabella mushrooms
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
2 tspminced garlic
-
3 cmilk, i used fat free
-
1 Tbspthyme leaves, crushed, divided

oil, like canola
How To Make smothered pork chops w/ bacon and mushrooms

1Cook bacon in lg skillet, over med-high heat. Drain on paper towels, let cool, crumble, set aside. In small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup flour , 1 tsp garlic and herb seasoning, salt and pepper.

2Season the chops w/ flour mix. In lg skillet, add a little oil and brown chops 2 mins, each side. Remove chops from pan. Add onion, mushrooms, worcestershire sauce and 1/2 the thyme to skillet. Scrape the bits up from skillet. Add remaining garlic and herbs and 1/2 tsp salt.

3Cook, stirring 10 mins.Add garlic, cook 1 min. Sprinkle onion and mushrooms w/ 1/4 cup flour. Cook over med-low until flour is dissolved. Add milk, slowly while stirring over med-high heat until it starts to thicken. Mix in remaining thyme, add chops to pan, simmer 10 mins. Sprinkle w/ bacon.
