sesame pork with broccoli
Another of my favorite Asian recipes. This will make 6 servings and can be doubled for more if needed. I've fixed this recipe so many times and have switch beef and chicken with the pork tenderloin. I serve this over rice, however, for a low-carb diet you can eat it without rice.

Ingredients For sesame pork with broccoli

1 can(14.50 ozs.) chicken broth

2 Tbspcornstarch

1 Tbspsoy sauce

4green onion tops, finely diced

1 lbpork tenderloin, trimmed

1 Tbspvegetable oil

1 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 1/2 lbfresh broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces (about 7 cups)

2 Tbspsliced pimiento, drained

2 Tbspsesame seed, lightly toasted
How To Make sesame pork with broccoli

1In a small bowl, combine chicken broth, cornstarch and soy sauce; blend well. Stir in green onions; set aside.

2Cut pork tenderloin lengthwise into quarters; cut each quarter into bite-size pieces.

3Heat oil in wok or heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and garlic; stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes or until pork is tender. Remove pork; keep warm.

4Add broccoli and broth mixture to wok. Cover and simmer over low heat for 8 minutes. Add cooked pork and pimiento; cook just until mixture is hot, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Serve immediately.
