I HAD DOUGH N THOUGHT ABOUT SAUSAGE N PEPPER PIZZA BUT THEN I THOUGHT A CALZONE MITE B BETTER SOOOOO HERE IT GOES :)

Ingredients For sausage n pepper calzone

    sausage (i used sausage patties cut up)
  • 2 lg
    red peppers, sliced (other colors or assortd. ok)
  • 1 lg
    onion, sliced
  • 2 clove
    garlic, sliced (or more :)
  • 8 oz
    mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1
    pizza dough (enough for one pie)
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    blk pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    crushd red pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese

How To Make sausage n pepper calzone

    BROWN SAUSAGE N SET ASIDE.

    HEAT OLIVE OIL IN LARGE PAN N ADD PEPPERS N SAUTÉ FOR 3 MINUTES. ADD GARLIC N ONIONS N SAUTÉ AN ADDL 5 MINUTES THEN ADD SALT N PEPPER ....CRUSHD RED PEPPER OPTIONAL.

    AFTER DOUGH HAS RISEN STRETCH N CUT INTO 3 PORTIONS N PLACE ON BAKN SHEET. ON ONE SIDE OF EACH PIECE OF DOUGH PLACE ABOUT SIX SLICES OF MOZZARELLA .

    ONTOP OF MOZZARELLA ADD BROWND SAUSAGE PIECES.

    ONTOP OF SAUSAGE ADD PEPPERS N ONIONS N SPRINKLE PARMESAN CHEESE.

    FOLD OVER DOUGH N TUCK UNDER EACH CALZONE PINCHN AS U GO.

    IN A PREHEATD OVEN TO 425 BAKE SAUSAGE N PEPPER CALZONES FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWND...ENJOY :)
