I did this for Christmas and as an Early Easter with my family. They are absolutely crazy about it. It is THE requested dish for family holidays.

This will become your go-to ham for the holiday. It's honestly one of the best I've ever had! The glaze is sweet and spicy with a slight tang from the mustard. Since it's baked uncovered and basted, it gets glazed and crisp around the edges, but nice and moist inside. So good!

Ingredients For riesling mango-pepper glazed ham

1spiral sliced ham 5-7 lbs

1 cRiesling wine

1shallot, diced
-
2 sprigthyme
-
1/2 clight brown sugar, packed

1/2 cstone ground mustard

1 jar18 oz, mango-pepper jelly
How To Make riesling mango-pepper glazed ham

1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a roasting pan with tinfoil.

2Put ham on a roasting rack in the pan.

3In a 1 quart saucepan, heat wine, thyme sprigs, and shallot to boiling over medium-high heat.

4Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until the wine is reduced to ½ cup.

5Remove from heat and discard thyme sprigs.

6Stir in mango-pepper jelly, brown sugar, and mustard. Wisk throughly.

7Brush half of glaze mixture over ham.

8Bake uncovered 1 hour 30 minutes, basting with remaining glaze mixture every 30 minutes.

9Cover loosely with foil.

10Let stand 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

11Any remaining glaze can be served on the side as a gravy of sorts.
