Ingredients For pork marsala (low carb)

1/3 cwhole wheat flour

1/2 tsppepper

6boneless pork loin chops

1 Tbspolive oil

2 csliced fresh mushrooms

1/3 cchopped vidalia onion

2strips turkey bacon copped
-
1 cmarsala wine
-
1/4 tspminced garlic
-
5 tspcornstarch
-
2/3 cchicken broth (low salt if desired)
How To Make pork marsala (low carb)

1Mix flour and pepper together. Dip chops in flour mixture to coat both sides. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add pork chops; cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove from pan and keep warm. In same skillet, add mushrooms, onion and turkey bacon to drippings; cook and stir until mushrooms are tender, 3 or 4 minutes, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add wine; cook, stirrings to loosed browned bits. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and broth until smooth; add to pan and bring to a boil; cook and stir a couple of minutes or until slightly thickened. Return pork chops to pan a couple of minutes, just until heated again and serve. This is only 7 carbs per chop.
