I've been trying to recreate mom's pork and sauerkraut recipe. Been checking different recipes and adjusted and come pretty close to mom's. This dish is truly filling and good and is even better the second day. One of those crockpot recipes ya gotta love. Enjoy!

Ingredients For pork and sauerkraut-connie's

  • 1 lg
    package sauerkraut
  • 1
    pork tenderloin, cut into large chucks
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    celery seed
  • 5
    potatoes, peeled and sliced into hunks
  • 5
    carrots, peeled and sliced into hunks
  • 1/2 c
    apple vinegar
  • 2 c
    water

How To Make pork and sauerkraut-connie's

    Drain sauerkraut.
  • 2
    Place sauerkraut into crock-pot.
  • 3
    Place tenderloin pieces on top.
  • 4
    Pot potatoes and carrots into crock-pot.
  • 5
    Add vinegar and water mixture.
  • 6
    Put celery seed, salt and pepper into crock-pot mixture.

    Stir well.

    Cook 5 hours on low.
