I have always believed that a true cook will cook anything, regardless if it is something that she/he eats or not. I am not a fan of Italian foods, but I cook it and people seem to really enjoy it. For a person who isn't into Italian foods, I must say that I really love my Lasagna recipe.

1 1/2 lbitalian pork sausage, sweet

1 1/2 lbground beef

2 1/2 pkg4oz sliced pepperoni or 1 pound sliced fresh from deli

1/2 conions, chopped small

3 clovegarlic, minced

6-8 oztomatoe sauce
-
1 1/2 can28oz crushed tomatoes

2 1/2 can6oz tomato past

1 cwater
-
1 Tbspgarlic salt
-
1 Tbspgarlic powder
-
4 Tbspbrown sugar
-
1/2 tspfennel seed
-
1 tspblack pepper
-
1 1/2 tspbeef bouillon

4 Tbspwhite sugar

1 1/2 tsponion powder

1 1/2 tspbasil leaves, dried

4 tspitalian seasoning
-
4 Tbsppsrsley, fresh chopped

1/2 csour cream
-
8 ozcream cheese, softened

2 lgeggs, beaten

24 ozricotta cheese
-
4 1/2 cmozzarella cheese

1 1/2 cparmesan cheese, shredded

2 cspinach, chopped (optional)

2 smcans of black olives, sliced (optional)
How To Make loaded four cheese and three meat lasagna

1On medium heat, cook beef, sausage, garlic and onion in heavy skillet, until well browned.

2Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Season with sugars, fennel seeds, Italian seasoning,garlic salt, garlic powder, beef boullion, black pepper, basil, and 2 tbsp parsley. Simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Last 15 mins add olives. Last 5 mins add spinach.

3Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles, and rinse with cold water.

4In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, sour cream, cream cheese with eggs, and remaining parsley. mix well.

5Preheat oven to 375 degrees

6To assemble, spread 1 cup of meat sauce in the bottom of a greased (9X13) baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Layer some ricotta cheese mixture, pepperoni, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese (about 1 1/2 cup per layer). Repeat layers with all ingredients. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese and remaining Mozzarella cheese.

7Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either spray foil with cooking spray, or make sure the foil does not touch the cheese.

8Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake an additional 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
