Ingredients For grilled smoked sausage fajitas

  • 1 pkg
    smoked sausage link, i like skinless - grilled and sliced as shown in directions
  • 8
    flour tortillas, fajita size
  • SAUTEED VEGGIES:
  • 1
    bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 md
    onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp
    oil
  • 1/8 tsp
    each - ground cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • SAUCES:
  • mustard
  • ranch dressing
  • sweet baby ray's chipotle barbeque sauce
  • GARNISHES:
  • 4 oz
    grated mild cheddar cheese
  • 1
    tomato, sliced thin
  • 1
    avocado, sliced
  • pickled jalapeno slices (optional)

How To Make grilled smoked sausage fajitas

  • 1
    Keep sausage warm until ready to serve. Cut into 4 pieces, and slice those in half length-wise to fit tortillas.

    Heat oil in a medium skillet on medium low heat. Add bell pepper and onion slices.

    Add spices and cook veggies until tender.

    On a warmed flour tortilla add sausage slices, peppers and onions, cheese and any other toppings such as sliced avocado, tomato, and peppers. Drizzle ranch, bbq sauce, and mustard over fajita. Enjoy!
