Years ago they made this Kahlua BBQ sauce I would pick up at the grocery store. I always made with my ham steaks, especially in summer grilled on a bun. I called it the HAMEE-BURGER. Of course, I haven't seen bbq sauce in quite a few years now. I had to make my own sauce and recreated my Hamee-burger. Wow was this good. I just wish I had a pineapple and grilled slices with the sauce to top my burger. Next time Its a must! This makes approximately 2 cups. Depending on how you use and for how many, you may get two bbqs ;) ENJOY!

If you are adventurous and like to try new and different recipes, give this grilled ham steak recipe a chance. The BBQ sauce is tangy, sweet, and bursting with so many flavors. It's sweet and spicy at the same time. The barbecue sauce is a perfect blend of tastes and goes well with the savory ham. We did grill a bit of pineapple when taste-testing and loved the way it complemented the sandwich.
