Been making this recipe for more years than I care to count. My kids love them & we made it a totally fun time. Get the meat ready, the water cup & toss the wrappers on the counter and let the fun begin. I'd load the meat, kids would fold & dip with water, and soon a pile of won tons, they're just like pizza rolls, who can resist. Just make sure you serve a side or two, pea pods or a salad or I'll guarantee you didn't make enough. The sweet and sour dipping sauce is to die for so I like to double it. Have fun! The meat & sauce freeze well. So make extra, then just thaw wrap and fry.

Fold one corner to the center, wet your finger from the custard cup and dab on the folded in corner, bring the opposite corner in and touch with a bit more water. Turn and do the same with the last two corners. Do this for all remaining wrappers, place on a plate,

heat oil to 350 - 375 degrees in a wok or you can use a sauce pan. Once oil is hot, add won tons one at a time, don't crowd. Fry until golden and turn them over to brown the other side. When cooked, remove from heat and let drain on paper towels.

Sweet & Sour Sauce can be started even before the assembly of the won tons. Heat all ingredients except the the corn starch and water. Bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch and water, add to boiling mixture, return to a boil, reduce heat and cook until it thickens.
