This was a delicious skillet recipe I threw together with what I had...It received wonderful approval from my family...I hope you try it sometime...It makes a large skillet full and would feed several... Enjoy!

Ingredients For creamy ham - swiss - noodle skillet

1/4 cflour
-
4 cmilk
-
1 1/2 tspdried dill weed

1 tspchicken buillon paste, cube or chrystals

1 1/2 - 2 tspdijon mustard

1 - 14 ozwide egg noodles, cooked and drained

2 Tbspbutter
-
1 cthin sliced carrots
-
2 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 lbham, cubed
-
1/2 tspeach, cracked black pepper & kosher salt

1 - 10 ozbag, frozn peas - thawed
-
2 ozsoftened cream cheese - cubed
-
3/4 - 1 cshredded, swiss cheese
How To Make creamy ham - swiss - noodle skillet

1In a large bowl, add flour and just enough milk to make smooth paste.

2Whisk into the paste the rest of the milk, mustard, dill, buillon and set aside. Have noodles prepared and set aside.

3In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add the carrots, garlic and ham cubes. Cook until carrots are crisp tender and ham is starting to caramelize.

4Add the milk mixture to the skillet and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until it thicken. It won't be a real thick sauce, but should coat the back of a spoon somewhat. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted. Sir in salt & pepper. Stir in the noodles,peas and cheese & heat through.

5Serve immediately - salt & pepper to taste. Would be great served with just a tossed salad.
