Ingredients For corny pork chops

  • 4
    bone-in pork loin chops
  • 1 tsp
    salt, divided
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper, divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 can
    (15 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2
    celery ribs, diced
  • 1 c
    soft bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped green onion

How To Make corny pork chops

  • 1
    Season pork chops with 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper. In a large skillet, cook chops in oil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until chops are slightly browned; drain.

    In a bowl, combine corn, celery, bread crumbs, ketchup, onion, and remaining salt and pepper.

    Place mixture in a greased 11x7-inch baking dish. Top with chops.

    Cover and bake in a preheated 325º oven for 40-45 minutes or until meat is tender.
