This is a new cheeseburger casserole recipe I created in a style of chicken cordon bleu. It is filled with black forest ham, sauteed mushrooms, and Swiss cheese.

1 bagfrozen diced hash brown potatoes

1 ccubed white American cheese

1 lblean ground beef

1 csliced fresh mushrooms

3 tspsteak seasoning

1 TbspWorcestershire sauce mixed with brown sugar

2 tspdried basil

2 Tbspmargarine

2 Tbspall purpose flour

1 3/4 cwhole milk

3/4 cdijon mustard
-
2 cshredded swiss cheese, divided

6 sliceblack forest ham, sliced

1 tspseasoned pepper
How To Make corden bleu burger casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Coat a 9-x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Add diced hash brown potatoes and cubed white American cheese; mix well.

3Heat ground beef in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes until are no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

4Stir in sliced mushrooms, steak seasoning, Worcestershire sauce/brown sugar, and basil. Remove for heat.

5Melt margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour. Add milk and cook, stirring until the sauce is bubbling and thickens for 8 minutes. Remove from heat.

6Add Dijon mustard and 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese; stir until melted. Add beef-mushroom mixture and sliced black forest ham. Season with seasoned pepper.

7Spread mixture in a prepared baking dish and sprinkle with remaining sliced black forest ham and shredded Swiss cheese.

8Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
