You can buy good Italian sausage at almost any grocery store. The advantages to making your own are three-fold. 1). You know all your ingredients are fresh 2). You can change the spices to suit your personal tastes 3). There are no additional chemicals and preservatives added This is the recipe that my Aunt Josephine taught me, a long time ago… So, are you ready... Well then, let’s get cooking.

- ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS

2 lbfresh ground pork

2 Tbspred wine vinegar
How To Make awesome homemade italian sausage

1Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

2Add the ground pork, red wine vinegar, and then mix until thoroughly combined.

3Cover and refrigerate 24 for hours before using.

4Chef’s Tip: Rather than buy pre-ground pork I choose the type of pork I want and grind my own. If you don’t have a meat grinder, you can always pick your own cuts, and then have your butcher grind it for you.

5Chef’s Note: Use this Italian sausage as you would any store-bought variety: Pizzas, spaghetti , the sky is the limit. Enjoy.
