Best apple stuffed pork chops, in my opinion. So good, and not difficult to make. We bake, but I bet some of you cooks would put them on the grill, and that would be great too!

Ingredients For apple stuffed pork chops

  • 4
    1 inch thick pork chops
  • 1 c
    herbed stuffing mix
  • 1/3 c
    finely chopped apple
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely chopped raisins
  • 1 Tbsp
    orange zest
  • 1 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    fresh ground pepper
  • chicken stock as needed

How To Make apple stuffed pork chops

    Mix together all the ingredients for the stugffing. Add enough chicken stock to wet everything. Allow to sit for 15 minutes and add some more chicken stock if needed.* *If stuffing seems to wet -- squeeze like a sponge by handful to release some liquid.

    Cut a slit in the pork chops and stuff. Season with salt and pepper. Sear in hot sauté pan until caramelized. Cook through in a 400F oven until tender and temperature reaches 145 degrees.
