Finally got my nephew Brendan in the kitchen again and this time to make some homemade pizza. He had a lot of fun learning with Uncle Tony how to work the dough. As you can see he really did most all the work and decided just how much pepperoni, salami and bacon that he wanted on his pizza. He was one generous guy when it came to that part. He also requested his very favorite cheese; Colby Jack and was heavy handed with it too. He made one delicious pizza and the addition of bacon was heavenly!

We love to get the sticks of pepperoni and slice it up ourselves. It seems to have more flavor and you can decide how thick a slice you want.

Time to press out your dough. Here is Uncle Tony showing you how to do it. Put a little olive oil onto the pizza pan before you start pressing it out.

Brendan, you were so funny as you pressed out the dough. You just kept laughing at how it would get stretched and then shrink back. I think you were surprised at how much work it takes to get the dough to fit the pan.

You didn't want your pizza too saucy so it was a little more than 1/2 the jar that you used of pizza sauce. You can add your seasonings before the sauce or after.

No doubt you & I both love cheese and the more the better. You ended up using the entire bag of cheese which is 2 cups. YUMM, YUMM --- You requested colby jack your favorite cheese.

You ended up using 3/4 of the large pepperoni stick and 1 small bag of salami. You also put the entire 1/2 pd of bacon on your pizza too. LOL
