My son loves this...he'll eat it till it's gone...lol! It's a lot like Goulash...add condiments, such as sour cream, extra onions, jalapeno slices etc... My son prefers it right from the pan, the way it is...you could serve it with a simple salad, and some crusty bread, and you'll have one tasty meal. Even better reheated. Enjoy! My photos

Ingredients For tasty taco mac

16 ozcooked and drained - not rinsed, pasta, your choice - I used a blend

1 lbground beef

1/2 - 3/4 cgreen bell or jalapeno pepper, chopped

1onion, chopped
-
1 1/2 pkg1.25 size taco seasoning mix
-
1 - 29 oztomato sauce
-
1 - 14.5 ozcan, plum tomatoes, drained & chopped

1 1/2 - 2 Tbspsugar
-
1 1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1 cshredded, cheddar cheese
-
condimentsof your choice if any - is good alone
How To Make tasty taco mac

1Cook your pasta as stated on box or bag, drain - don't rinse.

2In a large skillet, brown ground beef, peppers and onions, until beef is no longer pink, and veggies are soft. Drain

3Add 1 1/2 packages of taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for a few minutes. (You can add 2 whole packages of seasoning if you wish for more taco flavor. think 1 1/2 is just right.)

4Add tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, seasonings. Simmer until heated through.

5Stir in your pasta.

6Sprinkle cheese evenly on top, cover and remain cooking until cheese is melted. Enjoy!
