Ingredients For salsa mac & cheese

2 cmilk
-
4 Tbspbutter or margarine

1/4 call purpose flour
-
2 cchunky-style salsa
-
1 1/2 tspsalt
-
3 cmexican cheese blend, shredded

1 lbpasta (elbow macaroni, corkscrew or rotini) cooked, drained and warm

1/4 ccilantro, fresh, chopped
How To Make salsa mac & cheese

1Warm milk (skim, 2%, or whole) in small saucepan over medium heat.

2Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and whisk 2 minutes until mixture becomes golden.

3Add warmed milk; continue to whisk until mixture thickens and comes to a full boil. Stir in salsa and salt; remove from heat.

4Stir in cheese until melted; pour sauce over the pasta and spoon into serving dish. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
