my pasta salad

When I lived in Boulder, CO, I went to a restaurant and ordered the pasta salad. I liked it so much that I went home and tried to re-create what I remembered it tasting like (I was not a pasta eater at the time). This is very close to the dish I had, only with my twist. I like my salad a bit on the dry side. The one at the restaurant had a lot of liquid in it.

Ingredients For my pasta salad

  • pkg
    1 small package of tri-color pasta
  • can
    1 small can (2.3 oz) sliced black olives
  • jar
    1 small jar of green olives w/pimentos
  • stalk
    3 stalks green onions, chopped
  • Tbsp
    1 -2 tbls mayonnaise
  • Tbsp
    italian salad dressing to taste.
  • pkg
    1 package imitation crab chunks

How To Make my pasta salad

    Cook the pasta according to the directions.

    After pasta has cooled, put in a large bowl (or use the pan the pasta was cooked in). Then add the other ingredients. Blend well and add the Italian dressing...start with one tablespoon and add as needed.

    Place in fridge for about 30 minutes and then it is ready.
