This was a staple in our house since we were quite poor. My mom and dad had to come up with different dishes that weren't very expensive to make, yet were filling and flavorful. Always loved it. Now, I make it with ground turkey to make it healthier, but it tastes just as good:-)

1 cmacaroni

1/2 cmacaroni

2 lblean ground beef or ground turkey

1onion, chopped

1 tspminced garlic

1/2 tspsalt

1 tspworcestershire sauce
-
1 dashtobasco sauce
-
28 oz cans diced tomatoes

1 cancondensed tomato soup

1 ccheddar cheese, cubed
How To Make my moms easy beef and mac casserole

1Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray a 3-quart casserole dish w/ cooking spray. Cook macaroni as directed, drain. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray.

2Place pan over med-high heat, cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is fully browned. Add salt, worcestershire sauce, tobasco sauce, tomatoes and tomato soup, stir well.

3Pour into pan w/ macaroni, stir. Spoon into casserole dish. Sprinkle w/ cheese cubes. Cover, bake 30 mins. Uncover, bake 20 mins more.
