Ingredients For mac & cheese tuna casserole

  • 1 box
    cheap mac & cheese
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    milk - divided 1/4 & 1/2
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 can
    water packed tuna, drained & flaked
  • 1/2 c
    frozen peas
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup (or other cream type soup)
  • crushed potato chips - optional

How To Make mac & cheese tuna casserole

  • 1
    Make mac & cheese according to box, including the 1/4 c. milk, butter & cheese packet.

    Add tuna, cream of chicken soup (or mushroom, or celery), the additional 1/2 c. milk and frozen peas.

    Add shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well. Add topping of potato chips, bread crumbs or leave as is.

    Bake in greased casserole dish at 350 degrees for 20 min. or until hot and bubbly. Careful not to burn any topping.
