Ingredients For lighten up linguine with clams

1 lbpackage linguine

2 Tbsplight margarine

1/4 colive oil

3 clovechopped garlic

1 lbfresh mushrooms, sliced

2 can(6 1/2 ounces each) chopped clams with juice

1/2 cchopped fresh parsley

1 tspchopped fresh basil

1/2 tspwhite pepper

1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese
How To Make lighten up linguine with clams

1Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until done to taste; drain.

2Melt margarine along with the olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic and mushrooms until golden brown.

3Stir in clams with juice, parsley, basil, salt and white pepper. Cook over medium heat until hot.

4Toss with pasta until evenly coated. Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.
