Got this recipe many, many years ago from a cookbook someone was selling at work. We always enjoyed it at home, hope you will too.

Ingredients For greek island skillet

  • 3/4 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 3 c
    water
  • 1 can
    (14 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 pkg
    knorr recipe classics roasted garlic soup, dip, recipe mix
  • 2-1/2 c
    uncooked pasta twists (8 oz.)
  • 1 pkg
    (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained
  • 1 can
    (2.2 oz.) sliced ripe olives, drained (1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 c
    crumbled feta cheese or grated parmesan

How To Make greek island skillet

  • 1
    In large skillet, saute ground beef until browned. Spoon off excess drippings. Add water, tomatoes with juice and recipe mix; bring to a boil.

    Stir in pasta and return to boiling; reduce heat, cover and simmer 8-10 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring frequently.

    Stir in spinach and olives. Simmer 2 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese.
